What we do
IAt EC1 Race Cars, we specialize in drag cars and hot rods. We have the experience, knowledge and fabricating savvy to build or enhance performance for vehicles across a broad range of categories. Capabilities range from building custom full tube chassis drag cars and hot rods to custom headers, wiring and plumbing your vehicle. All work is completed in a temperature controlled facility featuring 2 chassis construction surface plate tables, ensuring accuracy within 0.001 inch. While safety and function are the top priority, all work is completed keeping visual appeal in mind. Take a few minutes to look through our gallery and see the quality for yourself. Our history
If it can be built from welded metal, owner Ernie Carrasco can create it. Ernie started welding and fabricating to work on and build his own race cars, but once people saw his work it wasn’t long before people began asking him to modify or build theirs. When Ernie opened EC 1 Race Cars, his original focus was race cars and hot rods. Since then he has built everything from brush trucks for fire departments to art work. Ernie utilizes over 30 years of hands on experience to problem solve even the most challenging creation or modification.
